It is quickly approaching the first Friday of the month! Our next State Park field trip is Friday, October 7, 2016. We will be going to Van Meter State Park and the Missouri’s American Indian Cultural Center. This state park has many educational programs that they offer to school children. We are scheduled for two of the programs. The Missouri’s American Indian Cultural Center as has a wonderful exhibit featured in our Jr. Wagon Master Book. We will be completing the activity as our first activity toward a Jr. Wagon Master Badge. Then, we will also be hiking the trails after lunch. We have a very full day planned. If you are able to join us for this field trip, please let me know! 

Please make sure to wear closed-toed shoes and your CCCS shirt. We will be eating lunch at the state park so please bring a sack lunch with a drink.
